๐Ÿš€ What are Product Recommendations? 

Product recommendations is a carousel of products from your store that we show customers after they place an order with you. They can add those products to their recently placed order.

๐ŸŽ Why is Fast offering recommendations? 

Recommendations help buyers find more products they want from your store, with very little hassle or friction. Surfacing products that the customer is likely to buy can drive up your average order value (AOV), with no extra effort on your part.

 

๐Ÿค” How do you decide which products to recommend?

We automatically recommend the products a customer may be interested in, based only on other items that are being purchased by customers from your store, and your available inventory.

 

๐Ÿ› Are all recommendations from my store?

Yes, we only recommend in-stock products from your store.

 

๐Ÿ›’ Will you recommend items that are out of stock? 

No. We check against your inventory and only display products that are in-stock at the time of recommendation.

 

๐ŸŽ‰ Does adding recommended items create a new order? 

Any items (including those from recommendations) added during the 5-minute window after an order is placed will be added to that current order.

 

๐Ÿง Where will you surface these recommendations?

Currently, recommendations are shown on the โ€œorder completeโ€ screen. In the future, we may also show recommendations earlier in the checkout experience, to better show customers the products they want and increase AOV for you.

๐Ÿ“ฃ Are recommendations always shown?

We will surface recommendations only if we have access to your catalog and identify other items that have been frequently purchased with the item(s) that the customer is already purchasing.

 

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ’ป Can I plug in my own recommendations engine?

Not at this time.

 

๐Ÿ’ป Can I control what gets recommended?

Our recommendations are automatically populated based on the items your customers are most likely to buy. While our recommendations are not customizable at this time, we do welcome your feedback, so feel free to contact us anytime at seller-support@fast.co.

 

๐Ÿ™Œ If I already have recommendations on my website, does this feature affect them?

Our recommendations show up on the โ€œorder completeโ€ screen, which provides customers with another opportunity to easily add more products to their order. This feature does not interfere with your own recommendations.

 

๐Ÿ’ฐ Do recommendations work on my e-commerce platform?

As long as we have access to your catalog and can find items we believe the customer would be interested in, weโ€™ll surface recommendations.
